Our Junior Pathway

Our aim is to provide a squash pathway from complete beginner to top professional player within one club: "From grassroots to greatness!".

Naturally, we don't expect all our juniors to pursue the game at an elite level. Many are playing for the love of the game and the great feeling you get from playing. Our top players act as inspirational role models. They show us a healthy, active lifestyle. They also give us new training ideas for the physical and mental aspects of the sport.

Frequently asked questions

My CHild has never played before, which class is right for them?
We can accommodate new junior players at all ages from 3-18. Some classes are designed for more serious players so they wouldn't suit a beginner. Get in touch with us if you aren't sure which class suits. [email protected]
Do I need any equipment?
You just need to bring non-marking shoes and we can provide rackets, balls & safety goggles
What happens After my free trial?
We'll send you an email asking if you would like to sign up to the class for the remainder of the term. All our classes are bookable online.
What competitions can my child enter?
England Squash are the governing body and provide a thorough calendar of events, many of which are hosted within the Midlands. At Solihull Arden, we host both ends of the spectrum. We run a 'copper' event each year, which is aimed at beginners. We also help to host the British Junior Open which is the most prestigious annual junior event held in the world.
