Ismail 'Smiley' Khalil won the Under 11 national title last weekend despite only being ranked 7th in the country. He overcame the 3rd seed in the quarters, 2nd seed in the semis and the 1st seed, Dylan Kalar, in a tense final, where he recovered from match ball down in the 3rd game to win 11-9 in the decider!
Other members of the RyderSquash junior academy that were playing the event finished as follows: Hassan Khalil - U17s - 3rd Jack Awuye-North - U15s - 12th James Averill - U13s - 6th Ali Khalil - U11s - 10th

These players all did well, I am proud of all of them. I am truly happy that they are doing whatever it is that they really want to do. I am sorry that I was not there to see you, but I still am very much happy for what you were all able to achieve. I hope that we can continue to go and win titles. You are all going to evolve into amazing players in the future, or at least I hope so.
